He emphasized the urgent need for improvements to ensure a conducive living environment for students. Drawing from his own experiences as a former student of the University of Benin, he expressed a deep sense of responsibility to effect positive change in the lives of current students.

While recognizing the challenges posed by limited funding, the Vice Chancellor pledged to engage with stakeholders and seek partnerships aimed at upgrading hostel facilities. His commitment to securing modern amenities reflects a broader vision of fostering a supportive and enriching campus experience for all students.

In his inauguration address, Professor Omoregie made it clear that his administration would prioritize student welfare, placing their needs at the forefront of his agenda. This student-centered approach is expected to lay the groundwork for a more vibrant and responsive university environment.
