Osun State Assembly Releases List of Commissioners and Special Advisers

The Osun State Assembly has released the list of commissioners and special advisers appointed by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola. The list was released on July 7, 2023.

The commissioners are:

  • Barr. Oladosu Babatunde - Commissioner for Regional Integration
  • Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe - Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
  • Mr Sesan Ephraim Oyedele - Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation
  • Barr. Kolapo Alimi - Commissioner for Justice
  • Mr Soji Ajeigbe - Commissioner for Finance
  • Mr Moshood Olatunde - Commissioner for Works and Transport
  • Mrs. Mofolake Adetoun Adegboyega - Commissioner for Empowerment and Youth Engagement
  • Mr Kolawole Wasiu Omotunde-Young - Commissioner for Education
  • Mr. Bola Ilori - Commissioner for Regional Integration
  • Alhaja Latifat Abiodun Giwa - Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs

The special advisers are:

  • Dr. Festus Akingboye - Special Adviser on Public Health
  • Engr. Oluwaseun Oyetola - Special Adviser on Science and Technology
  • Mr. Lekan Ogunsola - Special Adviser on Arts and Culture
  • Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal - Special Adviser on Security
  • Mr. Adebayo Adenipekun - Special Adviser on Environment
  • Mr. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye - Special Adviser on Information and Civic Orientation
  • Mrs. Temitope Olaniran - Special Adviser on Women and Children Affairs

The appointment of these commissioners and special advisers is a key step in the formation of Governor Oyetola's cabinet. The cabinet will be responsible for implementing the governor's policies and programs. The list of commissioners and special advisers is as follows:
