GITEX Africa Kicks Off in Marrakech

 GITEX Africa, the largest technology and start-up show in Africa, kicked off in Marrakech on May 31, 2023. The event, which runs until June 2, is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors from across the continent and beyond.


GITEX Africa is being held under the theme "One Africa. Limitless Possibilities.," and will focus on the latest trends and technologies in the digital economy, including artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things. The event will also feature a number of keynote speakers, panel discussions, and workshops.

GITEX AFRICA is held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, under the authority of the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform and hosted by Digital Development Agency (ADD).

The Moroccan government is also keen to promote the development of the digital economy in Morocco. The country has a young and growing population, and a strong commitment to innovation. The government is investing heavily in infrastructure and education, and is creating a favorable environment for businesses to operate in.

GITEX Africa is expected to play a key role in the development of the African digital economy.
